My husband and I have been wintering on Hilton Head for the past 20 years. I started going to Rita’s during our first year down on the recommendation of our neighbor. Rita, did a great job with my frequently uncooperative hair, perhaps even better than my stylist back home. Over the years, we developed a nice friendship; I always looked forward to seeing Rita.
After Rita’s passing, I continued on with Marla (Rita’s daughter) whom I also had gotten to know over the years as she worked along side Rita. Marla is just as gracious as her mother was and always has time for me. It is always so warming to be greeted by a cheery “Hi Margaret” after being away for several months. Needless to say, Marla does a great job, both for a simple haircut or for the “whole works”.
